“The clearest way into the Universe is through a forest wilderness.”
The mountains have always casted a mystical charm on me, ever since I was a little girl. My first visit to the hills was at the age of 2 and there has been no looking back ever since. For all those who do not know, I have been blessed to spend six glorious years amidst such wilderness. Therefore it’s never a surprise how the mountains keep calling me.
Despite my frequent vacations to Darjeeling and Sikkim, Kurseong had still remained quite untrodden. If you have been following me on Social Media, you would know about my recent vacation to Cochrane Place, Kurseong.
Cochrane Place is a gorgeous boutique hotel in Kurseong. It was formerly the residence of Percy Cochrane, the District Magistrate there during Colonial times. Surrounded by tea gardens, the property is a must visit for everyone looking for a quick getaway to serenity. The rooms exude an old world charm which transports one to a different era. The suites even come with a beautiful attic which had to be my favourite part of the entire hotel. Cochrane Place has it’s own tea boutique offering some of the most interesting tea infusions ever.
How to reach:

This place is a must visit if you wish to detoxify you mind and soul.
