15-Minutes Make-Up : Tutorial

Being in a 9 to 5 (the 5 goes further) job makes it impossible for me to devote a lot of time to makeup. Yet, being who I am, I would never be caught dead undone. Therefore I had to master the “15 minutes makeup”. I usually finish it in 10 minutes now.

Below is a step by step picture tutorial of my everyday makeup.

Start by concealing spots using a BB stick

Blend it well

You may use a concealer as well. But I believe a BB stick blends faster and better. I use the Maybelline BB stick in the shade “Fawn”. Maybelline has only two shades in the BB stick and incase you do not find the perfect match in them, you could try the Body Shop’s range of BB sticks. They have a shade for every skin color.

I avoid loose powder as it looks very cakey. The Maybelline All-in-one compact looks very natural. I use the shade Sand Beige.

Coat the lips with a Primer

I use Mac Prep-n-Prime. I apply this before the eye makeup as it needs to absorb for a while. Using a primer makes the lipstick last really long.

Cover the entire lids with a base shade, till the base of the eye-brows

I use the Maybelline Nude palette for my eyes.

I like smudging my kajal to give a smokey effect.

I have used Mac Lady Danger, which works great through the day and night.

I have used a very small amount of Colorbar Cheek Illusion blush.

And you are good to go!
