Product Review: The Body Shop Nutriganics Power Duo

December it is my dearies! My favourite month of the year! Before I start of with my yearly reminiscent posts here I have a review of a product which has managed to make its way out as one of my miracle products. If you have been following my blog regularly, you must be well aware of The Body Shop’s recent launch of the Drops of Youth.

Given my super sensitive skin I am usually extremely wary of the products I use. Rather most of the products have ended me with bad acne. But these have been a major exception. I was confident enough to use them in the first place because of its serum base. It’s been a month and the experience has been incredible.

What The Body Shop has to say:
Drops of Youth Serum:
The certified organic range has been created for the first signs of ageing. This innovative concentrate helps to enhance surface skin condition, leaving it looking smoother, fresher and healthier.
Helps enhance surface skin condition
Instantly moisturising
99% of ingredients are of natural origin
Eye Concentrate:
The unique Drops of Youth Eye Concentrate, enriched with Edelweiss plant stem cells, instantly refreshes the eye contour, and smoothes out the appearance of lines, bags and fatigue for younger-looking eyes.
Smoothes the appearance of lines around the eyes
Appearance of eye bags seems reduced Eyes appear less tired

What I realized:
I have seen the difference in my skin in a week. The eye concentrate comes with a massage ball which makes the application extremely relaxing. I use it as a bedtime beauty regime and it works miracles in soothing my nerves. Also it gives a cooling sensation. The skin serum may feel slightly sticky on application. Hence I club it with a skin hydrating gel.
I can feel my skin become much smoother. Infact off late I have noticed it breaks out much less.

Key Ingredients:
Stem cell extracts of Edelweiss flowers
Babassu oil

Price and packaging:
The serum is packaged in a glass bottle with a dropper cap. The dropper makes it’s application easier. The eye concentrate is packed in a pump tube with a massage roller ball.
The skin serum is priced at 2895INR for 30 ml and the eye concentrate at 1995INR for 10 ml.

The price is a bit on the higher side. Yet, it is a good investment. I have been using it regularly for a month now and yet I have almost half of the products left. My skin definitely feels much smoother. Infact I hardly wear makeup these days and I am slowly starting to love the bare makeup face. The packaging is brilliant, especially the roller ball. I would suggest you to definitely try the eye concentrate.
