Sunshine on my Shoulders

Sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy
Sunshine in my eyes can make me cry
Sunshine on the water looks so lovely
Sunshine almost always makes me high

These words by John Denver fill my soul with happiness every single time. There is something about sunshine that takes away all sorrow. Adding to the list are blue skies, lush green trees, sparkling water, children’s laughter, chirpy birds…..well happiness is in the mind. A positive state of mind makes everything around us beautiful and lovable.

Coming out of my philosophical state of mind let me update you with my fun weekend. Last Sunday saw me at Ibiza Club, Merlin Greens chilling with my friends. With the last few weeks remaining of the winter chill, we are trying to make the best of it. A lovely drive with friends brought us to this exotic location. What followed next was more of a flashback of the picnics I used to attend as a kid. Shedding off our adult-ness we spent the day playing badminton, boating and hogging on food.

And this is what I wore:

    Blue chiffon top: Latin Quarters
    Grey jeans: Jealous 21
    Black cardigan: Gangtok
Animal prints bag: Girlfriends, Gangtok (Read about shopping in Gangtok here)
    Wedges: Catwalk
    Neck-piece: Local street haul
    Shades: Miami Blues

Quite evidently, I had a blast of a time. I love it when the week passes by real quick to pave way for another weekend. I have already started making plans *wicked smile*.
P.S: I have learnt a good amount of Photoshop and can work with backgrounds. Hopefully I’ll come up with some decent edits on my blog. Stay tuned for more posts. Till then stay gorgeous, stay stylish.

Lot’s of love
