Christmas greetings to all my darling readers! I hope you have been having a blast of this party season. This post is an update of my recent family vacation to Santiniketan, a beautiful place in the Birbhum district of West Bengal. Birbhum is also known as the “Land of Red Earth” due to the rich mineral content in the soil, which makes it appear red. Santiniketan has attained popularity because of the legendary Nobel laureate, Rabindranath Tagore and his university, Viswabharati. Apart from that, this season is a must visit for the “Poush Mela” (Poush is a month in the Bengali lunar calendar). The fair has artisans from all around showcasing their work along with local folk dance and music performances.

The pictures say it all. The trip to Tagore land was a great way to start off Christmas. Coming up next is New Years and my excitement knows no bounds. What are your plans for New Years? Do let me know in the comments below. Till then stay gorgeous and have a blast!
Lots of Love!
