Believe it or not, most of my life has been spent looking out for the perfect sunscreen lotion for my skin type. After trying out almost every kind of sun-block available in the market (including the medicated ones), I had almost given up on them. The funniest part was, a product which is actually supposed to prevent my skin from tanning actually made it darker! In the past one year or so I stuck to cosmetic products and skin bases with a high SPF for sun protection. A week back I came across this product in my local cosmetics shop. This brand has been doing pretty well lately and what attracted me was the “normal to sensitive skin” marked at the corner of the tube.
And what the product had to say about itself was also quite interesting.
The product contains:
Purified water
Organic beeswax
Zinc oxide
Cucumis Sativas extract
Vegetable glycerin
Triticum Vulgare germ oil
Cocos Nucifera oil
Aloe Babadenis gel
Ascorbic acid
And some essential oils
Packaging and Texture
As you can see, it is packaged in a tube. The sunscreen lotion has a creamy texture. But the best part is, it has no oily residue after application.
Price
This comes at a price of 280INR.
I have been using this product for a week and I think it has been doing a good job in protecting my skin. Although I continue using my BB Stick base (read review) and regular de-tanning regimes (read review of Lotus anti-tan mask)
For people with oily, sensitive skin, this is a great pick. So, my final verdict would be, go for it!
Let me sign off for now! Till then stay stylish and happy sun blocking!
XOXO
I dont use sunscreen as I pretty much never go out in the day. However I love the packaging!
