Bohemian Rhapsody

Is this the real life?
Is this just fantasy?
Caught in a landslide,
No escape from reality.
-Queen, Bohemian Rhapsody

It was one of those bright festive mornings when my mood was at its bohemian best. The morning ushered in one of the most vibrant festivals of India, the festival of lights, Diwali. So my weekend saw me ticking off the following checklist:

  1. Piled on calories by striving on sweets day and night.
  2. Assisted mum in making cndles and yes, the outcome was beautiful!
  3. Went shopping for crackers and managed to burst all of them without setting myself ablaze
  4. Went pandal-hopping for Kali Puja at midnight and clicked pictures, lots of them!

When it comes to clicking pictures, I prefer being the poser. Being the quintessential camera lover, I tend to pose on and around anything and everything. So, when I found a hand rickshaw lying by while we were waiting for our turn at a restaurant, the best way to kill time was to pose and flaunt my new flowing skirt.

    And I’m wearing:
    Skirt: Dakkhinapan
Scoop neck tee: Some place in Gangtok
    Lace shrug: 109F
Clutch: Gifted by a dear friend
    Rings: Gariahat
    Neckpiece: Gifted by mum

Last, but not the least, my best wishes to all my readers for this festive season. May there be light in every corner of your life. See you again with another post. Till then, stay blessed and absolutely gorgeous.
